ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR

ABOUT THE JOB:

A Global Real Estate Management Company is seeking to fill a Full Time Accounting Administrator Position for our San Diego, CA and San Juan, PR offices. The position requires the ability to maintain a positive, up beat attitude while working in a fast paced and fun environment. The position includes a yearly salary and bonus structure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.) Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
2.) Advanced knowledge with Quickbooks
3.) Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
4.) Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office
5.) Must Be able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate high levels of self initiation and direction.
6.) Must have demonstrated ability to perform basic business mathematical functions
7.) Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
8.) Must comply with all operating policies, procedures, plans, and programs.
9.) Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
10.) Sense of Urgency. Positive attitude and energetic
11.) Ability to communicate directly with clients while providing exceptional service
12.) Fluent with Microsoft products and able to learn new web based management platforms with ease

DUTIES:

1.) Reconciliation of bank and general ledger accounts.
2.) Prepare, analyze and record journal entries as required for all balance sheet reconciliations according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
3.) Prepare and record cash deposits to bank
4.) Investigate and resolve differences identified during the reconciliation process
5.) Provide backup to Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable as needed
6.) Track and report on hundreds of incoming and outgoing payables per month
7.) Communicate with clients on an as needed basis
